Services / 03 — Advise: Leadership & Training

Senior guidance, embedded in your team.

Fractional CTO, AI strategy, enterprise architecture, Scaled Agile, and hands-on vibe coding training — from people who ran these disciplines at Boeing, the IRS, and the Air Force before AI made everyone an expert. Leadership on your terms, without the full-time overhead.

Four ways in

Pick the gap. We fill it.

01

Fractional CTO

Technology strategy, architecture decisions, vendor and hiring calls, AI-native planning — a senior technologist in your leadership meetings for a fraction of a full-time package.

02

AI strategy & modern planning

AI-accelerated business case research and practical implementation guidance that connects strategy to execution — a plan your engineers can actually build from.

03

Enterprise architecture & Scaled Agile

EA governance, portfolio analysis, and transformation discipline from veterans who did this at Boeing, the IRS, and the Air Force — proven methodologies, modernized for AI.

04

Vibe coding & vibe engineering training

One-on-one and team training in AI-assisted development, taught by engineers who shipped software before AI was a thing — the tools and the judgment to use them safely.

This is for you if

  • You're making technology bets — AI adoption, architecture, hiring — without a senior technologist in the room.
  • Your team is using AI tools but nobody has taught them the engineering discipline underneath.
  • You need transformation experience that has survived contact with a real enterprise, not a framework poster.

It's not if

  • You need a warm body in an office 40 hours a week — that's a hire, and we'll help you make it instead.
  • You want a report that agrees with the decision you've already made.

Questions we always get

What does "fractional" actually look like?

A fixed monthly commitment — typically one to three days a week of embedded time plus async availability. You get a named principal, not a rotating bench, and the shape flexes as your needs do.

Who would we actually be working with?

The principals of LSA Digital — the same senior engineers and enterprise architects behind our Build and Assure work. Nothing is delegated to juniors because we do not have any.

Can you help us hire a full-time CTO or team?

Yes, and we routinely do. A common pattern: we act as fractional CTO while defining the role, running the search, and interviewing candidates — then hand off to the person we helped you hire.

How does the vibe coding training work?

One-on-one or small-group sessions, hands-on with your actual projects — not canned exercises. Your team learns AI-assisted development plus the engineering discipline that keeps it from becoming unmaintainable.

How long do advisory engagements run?

Month to month after an initial three-month commitment. Most clients keep us six months to two years; training engagements can be as short as a few weeks. No long lock-ins.

Fractional CTO vs. full-time — how do we decide?

Under roughly 15 engineers or before product-market fit, fractional usually wins: you need senior judgment more hours than you can justify a senior salary. Past that, we will tell you when it is time to hire — and help you do it.

“The thing that stood out most about LSA's advisory was the ability to connect classroom theory with real life. Someone I would trust to deliver results and influence organizational change.”
— Lauresa Escribano, IBM
